354 km/h — correct. A pole has no length, so the train covers exactly its own 180 m in 12 s. 180 ÷ 12 = 15 m/s, and 15 × 18/5 = 54 km/h.
Three points to remember
- Pole: distance = the train’s length.
- Platform: distance = train + platform.
- m/s to km/h is × 18/5.

Who is it for?
Onward is an Android exam practice app for learners preparing for SSC CGL, RRB NTPC, IBPS PO, NEET, THPT, CPNS SKD, UTBK-SNBT, UTME, SAT and other supported exams. The catalogue has 53 courses across 24 countries, plus International English Proficiency. Choose your country and exam to find relevant practice, not a complete syllabus programme. Check supported exams, study languages and available mock tests.
Which study languages are available?
English, Hindi, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Turkish, Portuguese, Spanish, Bengali and Malay, depending on the course. These are study-content languages, not a claim of nine translated interfaces. App menus are mainly English, with some Hindi screens.
What do I need to start?
Use the Android app, sign in with Google and choose your exam. An internet connection is required for study content and progress sync. The app contains ads; timed mock sessions have no ads. Paid learning packs and live AI tutoring are not available in this version.
Are these real past papers?
Kerala PSC has verified selections from official past papers, taken from the government source with the final answer key. Other questions are original Onward practice. Full mocks are available for selected courses; availability and depth vary. UTBK-SNBT currently provides topic practice banks, not full mock tests. CPNS TKP uses simplified practice scoring, not the official 1–5 scale or a pass prediction. Each paper is labelled as a past paper, original mock or practice set. Onward is independent and not affiliated with any examination authority.
Which exams are coming next?
We add original question banks and mocks as they pass content review. If your exam is missing, email us to suggest it.
How is it different?
Read the correct answer, the idea being tested and individual option explanations. Revisit missed questions and recall concepts with flashcards. Supported timed mocks include mark for review and exam-specific marking. These are original practice sessions, not official exam software.
